I’m still processing it all. Walking into that room filled with so much Black excellence… it didn’t even feel real. ✨ I had to create a special moment to share with the ROUGHEST TOUGHEST egg collector 🥹❤️ I wish I could have brought her with me! All my babies really. 

To be nominated alongside creators I’ve admired for years and to actually win, was beyond anything I imagined.

This wasn’t just an award, it was a reminder that purpose has perfect timing. From building a runway to my chicken coop to building a platform that now inspires millions, every moment led me here.

Thank you to bgdcreatorawards for creating a space where we can be seen and celebrated. And to my community… y’all showed OUT. Every vote, every comment, every share you made this possible!

I wore a dress I made by hand, stood in a room that once felt unreachable, and walked away reminded that no matter how heavy the journey gets… DO IT FKN SCARED!
