We are deeply saddened by the passing of Paul Tagliabue, a visionary leader, steadfast ally, and cherished member of the RISE family.

As board chair of RISE from 2018 to 2022, Mr. Tagliabue’s leadership, wisdom, and unwavering belief in the unifying power of sport left an incredible mark on our organization.

A lifelong champion of integrity and fairness in sport, Mr. Tagliabue embodied the values of respect, teamwork, and shared humanity, strengthening RISE’s mission to advance equity and inclusion across the sports community and beyond

We extend our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of working alongside him. His legacy will continue to guide and inspire RISE as we carry forward the vision he so passionately championed.
