According to wral, Kennard has been ordered to pay $1.75 million after a jury found her liable following a lawsuit that accused her of seducing and having an affair with her manager, #TimMontague.

Tim Montague’s ex-wife, #AkiraMontague, brought the lawsuit to civil court and claimed that the alleged affair between her now-ex-husband and Kennard caused her mental anguish, damage to her health, and deprived her children of a two-parent household.

The reported affair took place in the former couple’s home and on Kennard’s social media. In the end, Tim Montague left his marriage with Akira Montague to be in a relationship with Brenay Kennard, whom he later married.

Ultimately, the jury found Kennard liable for criminal conversation and alienation of affection. It’s noted that in the state of North Carolina, the alienation of affection law allows a spouse to sue the person they blame for interfering with their marriage.
