This week on certoversharer is… a big one. My best friend trishpena joins me to talk about something that so many of us have lived through but rarely say out loud: When one friend is trying so hard to get pregnant…and the other gets pregnant by accident.

For me, I was deep in my infertility battle. For her, she was terrified to tell me. She waited past 20 weeks because she didn’t want to hurt me. We were both grieving, both scared, both trying to love each other well in completely different circumstances.

If you’ve ever been the friend struggling… or the friend who didn’t know what to say… this episode is for you. There is no “perfect” way to walk these moments — just grace, honesty, and a whole lot of love.
