## Caption

The Ponoka Stampede is a special event. The biggest sanctioned rodeo in Canada, and an absolute marketing machine. Multiple committee members told me that this year, attendance wise is the best it has ever been. This is down to the hard work of the committee and volunteers, but also Amber Williams and her ability to market the event. She brought together incredibly talented videographers and photographers and made sure that this event is shown from every angle and in multiple mediums. It was a career year at Ponoka, with challenges and a bit of weather, but also a ton of risks taken and successful images built.

From a very personal level, it was awesome to be able to work alongside my CFR buddy Billie-Jean Duff, and getting to know JD from 8 Second Takes this year. The uber talented and passionate Cole Harris was on site most of the week as well, and they demonstrated that creators can, and need to work together to build the very best possible product from a team of creators to turn heads online. I was even lucky enough to have some photos used in an edit from each of them. Collaboration can work so so well, and I am excited to get back to Ponoka already. Devon Riches was on site and building tons of content alongside Alicia Erickson and Nicole Brick, keeping fans informed and entertained all week long.

Now on to a couple nights of Cody Snyder’s Charity Bullbustin in Calgary, reigning PBR Canada Outdoor Event of the Year and another huge part of so many’s Cowboy Christmas. I cant wait to get there tonight, and then pull double duty for two nights going from the Calgary Stampede to Bullbustin’, two of my favorite days of the entire season. To all those kicking around all week, the friends and colleagues, you all kept my cup full, in more ways than one, and it was my favorite Ponoka Stampede to date. You all know who you are. Thank you so much!
