The moment in the night that I absolutely lost my marbles. As if the early substorms weren’t ridiculous enough in themselves, at 4am, just before calling it a night the most ludicrous eruption of aurora I have ever seen ignited across the skies through the moon light. I have never had pillars so huge that they fill the entire 14mm of my frame. The craziest part to process? THIS IS IN SOUTH DAKOTA
