NEWJEANS’ TURNING POINT: HAERIN AND HYEIN RETURN TO ADOR AFTER LEGAL DECISION

Two members of the K‑pop girl group NewJeans — Haerin and Hyein — have officially confirmed that they will resume their activities with label ADOR, the agency announced on 12 November 2025.

The return follows a ruling by the Seoul Central District Court on 30 October 2025, which upheld the validity of the exclusive contracts between NewJeans and ADOR. The court dismissed the group’s bid to terminate the contracts on grounds of alleged trust breakdown.

In its statement, ADOR revealed that after “careful consideration with their families and thorough discussions,” Haerin and Hyein decided to respect the court’s decision and continue under their original exclusive contracts. The agency pledged full support for their activities and asked fans to refrain from speculative discourse.

Industry observers say the quick resolution by two members may spearhead the group’s next chapter, although the status of the remaining members remains unconfirmed.
