Bernard H. Gaddis phillyboy1227_bernard_gaddis has been in the studio with the Joffrey Concert Group, hard at work on his new piece for the 2026 Creative Movers Choreographic Initiative (CMCI). As Founder and Artistic Director of Contemporary West Dance Theatre, Bernard brings a powerful artistic voice shaped by an expansive career that includes performances with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Cirque du Soleil.

His choreography will be presented at In My Art on February 20–21, 2026 at the Alvin Ailey Citigroup Theater, alongside works by fellow CMCI choreographer Clifford Williams and Joffrey Concert Group Artistic Director Bradley Shelver.
