They say diamonds are a girl’s best friend 💎💍

As a mom who’s usually at home crafting, deep in kid fun and living in my fave overalls and a bow headband, it’s rare that I get all dressed up. I couldn’t even find my fancy dresses (which seems sacrilegious for a former pageant girl to say), but I did pull out one from a random bin in the basement when I was purging yesterday that’s over 17+ years old — it was one my mom altered, added a slit to and back little back strap to because I have never been able to fully zip it up 🫣. Slipping it on felt like a sweet little nod to her and to that version of me who used to get dressed up a bit more often an thinks I should because it feels good 

Truthfully, I’ve been in a rough season with depression again, not feeling great in my own skin and I almost didn’t go. But once I got downtown Pasadena— surrounded by girlfriends and mamas I love,  RobbinsBrothers immediately frosted us in diamonds for the night — it was pure magic. They thoughtfully curated our earrings, necklaces, engagements rings, bracelets and more based on our personality. Also the engagement ring I was wearing 💎💍 was insane… ryancrownholm maybe it’s time for a new one. I might always want to upgrade one😋

For a night, I felt like Andie from How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days.  Robbins Brothers literally frosted us. 💛 They were beyond generous — and let’s just say, we got the best take-home gift ever.

It was one of those nights that reminded me that sometimes, stepping out of your everyday helps you find a little bit of your sparkle again. ✨
