Grab your guitar, set the metronome to 96 bpm, and play along to JJ Cale’s “After Midnight.”

Released in 1966, “After Midnight” is considered to be one of Cale’s most recognized songs, with covers by @phish, @jerrygarcia, Chet Atkins, and @ericclapton. It was a kickstart to Cale’s success that peaked at 42 on the US Billboard Hot 100 after his rerecording of it in 1972 on his album “Naturally.”
