Andrea G takes over Washington DC 🇺🇸✨

Last March, I had the honor of attending 2023 Spring Lobby Weekend in Washington DC with quakerlobby, thanks to my amazing amiga destiniperkinsofficial 🤍 

My trip to Washington, D.C. was a game-changer for me as a Latina. 🇲🇽 Walking through the city where so many decisions are made, I felt a deep sense of responsibility—knowing that our communities deserve a seat at the table. 

Seeing the impact of civic engagement firsthand, I realized that if we want real change, it has to start with us, right in our own neighborhoods. 📬📰

As Latinas, Chicanas, Women, Amigas, Sisters, Daughters, individuals our voices are powerful, and our votes are how we make them count. 💞

This trip inspired me to apply to be on the 2024 Leaders for Liberation Cohort with afsc_org 👩‍💻 Now, apart of my Action Project I’m planning the ‘Fuerza Latina: GenZ Voting Empowerment Summit’ ✨
