This year, TIME and Statista dropped their second annual World’s Best Companies in Sustainable Growth ranking and JYP Entertainment just came out No.1 in Korea AND No.1 globally, scoring an incredible 97.59 out of 100.

Last year, JYPE already ranked #1 in Korea and #3 worldwide, but this time they climbed all the way to the top.

According to Statista, “What stands out the most is that JYP performs exceptionally well across every evaluation category. Many companies score high in one area and fall short in another, but JYP is one of the few that excels in both financial and environmental performance.”

JYPE has been recognized for its serious ESG efforts, becoming the first Korean entertainment company to join RE100 in 2022 and switching 100% of its electricity to renewable energy. They’ve also released four sustainability reports so far, with the latest published this June.

On top of that, JYPE continues to give back through its CSR programs under the slogan “EDM (Every Dream Matters!)” — supporting medical expenses for sick children, and running projects like LOVE EARTH to protect the environment for future generations.

올해도 TIME과 스태티스타가 ‘세계 최고의 지속가능 성장 기업’ 리스트를 발표했는데요, JYP엔터테인먼트가 97.59점이라는 점수로 한국 1위는 물론 글로벌 1위에 올랐습니다.

작년에도 이미 한국 1위·세계 3위를 찍었지만, 올해는 아예 정상까지 올라간 거죠.

스태티스타는 이렇게 평가했습니다. “가장 눈에 띄는 점은 JYP는 모든 평가 부문에서 탁월한 성과를 낸다는 것이다. 많은 기업들이 한쪽은 뛰어나도 다른 한쪽이 부족한 경우가 많은데, JYP는 재무성과와 환경성과 모두 뛰어난 몇 안 되는 기업이다.”

JYP는 2022년 국내 엔터사 최초로 RE100을 이행하며 전력 100%를 재생에너지로 전환했고, 그동안 꾸준히 지속가능경영보고서를 발간해 올해 벌써 네 번째 보고서를 냈습니다.

또 ‘EDM (Every Dream Matters!)’이라는 슬로건 아래 환아 치료비 지원, 미래 세대를 위한 ‘러브 어스(LOVE EARTH)’ 프로젝트 등 다양한 CSR 활동도 꾸준히 이어오고 있죠.
