¡Sombra!—created through our #PublicArtChallenge—brought together artists to design new shade structures that combat cityofphoenixaz’s extreme heat with bold colors and community-driven programming. One installation made with UV-resistant fabric created nearly a 50-degree difference between sun and shade.
