i was SHOCKED when i found this one out 🪄

back during the filming of the goblet of fire, harry potter's director mike newell said that he wanted authentic music for a scene at the yule ball

and this literally led to 2 members of radiohead and members of the band pulp to teaming up to form 'the weird sisters'

it has to be said that the creator of harry potter has since took a turn on her beliefs that skews from my own, but since i grew up on this world and still enjoy everything that stemmed from it — i had to share this!

did you know radiohead was in the film though before watching this or am i late?
