Brazilian artivist mundano_sp just revealed a message written with ashes inside the COP30 venue. These are real ashes collected in the Amazon, on Anambé Indigenous land, after devastating fires.

A reminder of what is already being lost, and a warning to world leaders in Belém: the future is burning.

This is not the moment for empty promises. We need a concrete plan to end deforestation in all forests by 2030 and protect Indigenous rights, lands and knowledge.

Governments at #COP30 must act NOW. 

The world is watching.
