November 18, 2025, Washington, District of Columbia, USA: The Epstein Files Transparency Act requires the United States Department of Justice to declassify and release all files pertaining to the prosecution of the deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein within 15 days. The measure passed 427-1, with Representative C. Higgins (R-LA-3) casting the lone nay vote. The Senate passed the bill through unanimous consent.
