#Roomies #ToryLanez just got hit with a contempt of court ruling after refusing to answer basic questions during his third jailhouse deposition in #MeganTheeStallion’s defamation case against blogger #MilagroGramz.

According to rollingstone, court docs stats U.S. Magistrate Judge Lisette M. Reid ordered Tory to pay $20K to Megan’s legal team for “obstruction” after he allegedly refused to cooperate. The judge also fined his attorney, Crystal Morgan. This all comes as jury selection kicked off Monday in Megan’s federal lawsuit against Gramz.

Meg accuses the blogger of teaming up with Tory to harass her after she testified against him in 2022 claiming Gramz acted as his “paid surrogate” while spreading “vicious and hateful rumors.” Judge Reid says Tory started last Friday’s deposition by asking what would happen if he didn’t answer questions. When told he could be fined for contempt, he allegedly said: “Whatever the fines are, I’ll pay them. I’m a millionaire. I don’t care.”

The judge says he then stormed out, accused Megan’s lawyer of lying, and refused to answer how he met Gramz, whether he’s ever communicated with her, or if they’ve talked via Instagram or text. Judge Reid suggested jurors be told he was asked these questions “properly” but refused to answer before ending the deposition altogether.
