Massive demonstrations took over Mexico City on Saturday, November 15 in Gen Z-led anti-government protests and growing violence, corruption, and impunity. Protesters took to the streets to demand action from Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum’s government, which they accuse of ignoring cartel activity following the assassination of Uruapan Mayor Carlos Manzo on November 1.

“We want freedom, security, peace, a future for our country,” a protester said in an interview with CNN.
