🚀 Celebrating Coach Yolanda Thomas! ⚽️💜

Yolanda Thomas continues to raise the bar in American soccer. An accomplished coach and former professional player, Thomas is currently an assistant coach with the Orlando Pride, where she helped lead the team through a historic 2024 season — capturing both the NWSL Shield and the NWSL Championship! 🏆🏆

Under her leadership, the Pride set multiple league records for most points, wins, and clean sheets and became the first team since 2019 to complete the double. 🔥

In 2025, Thomas took on a new challenge as Head Coach of the U.S. Women’s U-23 National Team, guiding national training camps and shaping the next generation of stars for the 2027 World Cup and 2028 Olympics. 🇺🇸🌟

Her coaching journey is filled with success, including her time as Head Coach & Sporting Director of Fortuna Tulsa (WPSL), where she led the club to Franchise of the Year honors (2019, 2021), two conference titles, and multiple deep postseason runs — Final Four, Regional Championship, and Elite Eight appearances.

Beyond her pro and international impact, Thomas has long been a champion for player development at the college and youth levels, serving as a college head and assistant coach and as Director of Coaching & ECNL Director at Tulsa Soccer Club. Her efforts have helped grow grassroots soccer and elevate players into both collegiate and professional ranks.

Thomas holds a USSF “A” License, is an active member of the United Soccer Coaches Black Coaches Community, leads the #MomsWhoCoach initiative within the Women Coaches Community, and is currently pursuing her USSF Pro License. 🎓⚽️
