On this day in 2015: November 19: Billie Eilish dropped her debut single 'Ocean Eyes' on Soundcloud.

"Ocean Eyes" was solely written and produced by Eilish's brother Finneas O'Connell, who originally wrote it for his band, but later gave the song to Eilish after feeling the song suited her vocals.

It was officially released as the lead single of Eilish's debut EP 'Don't Smile At Me' a year later on November 18 2016.
