✍️Before the week comes to a close, I’d like to say a heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who cast a vote for Game Changers last week.

🙏🏽Game Changers was one of only ten nonprofits throughout the Mahoning Valley recognized for the impact our organization has made for more than a decade. It was truly an honor to be in a room with other passionate co-laborers who have a heart and commitment to serve.

♥️And speaking of service—I also had the opportunity to recognize my mentor. I share this because it’s not what you say, but rather what you do and how you show up for people that can leave an indelible mark on someone’s life. 

🫶🏾Thank you Alicia Washington Daniels, who discovered this opportunity and started the ball rolling for the nomination. To Nick Velez, one of Game Changers’ College Ambassadors and a recipient of our coveted Phil Annarella Legacy Scholarship and Pro Sports Experience. To my date for the evening and #1 supporter Linda Smith—who #always holds me down—my mother, Linda. And to EVERY SINGLE PERSON who has suppGame Changers Leadership and Peer Mentoring Initiativean answer to my prayers.
