Creighton’s welcoming atmosphere immediately made Chicago native and first-generation college student Nadia Aranda feel right at home. She knew it would provide the perfect blend of academic challenges with lifelong relationships. “When I toured campus, I was scared to attend college away from home,” she admits. “However, I met several people who made me and my family feel welcomed.”

The senior paramedicine student says she has been able to thrive at Creighton, both as a student and an individual. “Someone considering Creighton should know that there are many opportunities to pursue your passions and hobbies, as well as to explore areas that might surprise you and become things you truly enjoy.”
