This week, we’re spotlighting Ana Karina Cespedes ’99, an FIU CARTA alum whose storytelling spans continents and cultures. 🌍🎬

An Emmy Award–winning international travel producer, production consultant, documentary photographer, and world traveler, Cespedes has built a career at the intersection of adventure and impact. She currently works with Dragonfly Film and Television, where she has been instrumental in producing CNN’s celebrated Searching For travel franchise, including Searching for Mexico, Searching for Spain, and the upcoming Searching for France with Eva Longoria, premiering in 2026.

Most recently, she served as Unit Production Manager for Eva Longoria: Searching for Spain, an eight-episode culinary and cultural journey that premiered on CNN in 2025. From home-cooked traditions to cutting-edge gastronomy, the series explores Spain through the lens of heritage, flavor, and discovery, all brought to life with Ana Karina’s passion for storytelling.

Her career is a powerful reminder of the global impact FIU CARTA alumni continue to make across media, culture, and creativity. ✨
