No ice nor snow? Don’t worry, Team Belgium still turned the world into a winter playground this weekend. Swipe to catch up!

1️⃣ Still got it! Hanne Desmet skated her way to her first 🥇 of the season on the 1000m.⛸️💨

2️⃣ A lot of qualification points in the Milano-Cortina bag. The Ice Bears with Stijn Desmet, Ward Pétré, Warre Van Damme and Enzo Proost finished 6th in the 5000m relay. ⛸️💨

3️⃣ History in the snow! Armand Marchant delivered Belgium’s first-ever Alpine Ski World Cup podium, taking 🥈 in the slalom in Gurgl, Austria, onl 0.07” from the win. 🎿

4️⃣ Skeletoni Kim Meylemans is right on track for MiCo 2026. In the World Cup opener on the brand-new Olympic track, she slid to an impressive 3rd place. 🛷

5️⃣ Bart Swings missed the podium by a heartbeat. The Olympic champion finished 4th in the mass start, just shy of what would have been his first World Cup medal of the season. ⛸️

6️⃣ Belgian records were flying left and right. Sandrine Tas (3000m), Isabelle Van Elst (1500m) and Fran Vanhoutte (500m) each equaled or smashed their own NR’s again. ⛸️

7️⃣ Pure class on the biggest stage. Abdel Saïd and Bonne Amie delivered a masterpiece in Prague, winning the Longines Global Champions Tour Super Grand Prix. 🐎

8️⃣ Another medal for Sarah Chaâri. The Belgian taekwondo star took 🥈 in +67kg at the Grand Prix in Bangkok, 🇹🇭. 🥋

9️⃣ The Red Aces fought until the very last breath, but their Davis Cup journey ended in the semifinals against 🇮🇹. After Collignon’s opener, Zizou Bergs played a marathon thriller, falling 17-15 in the decisive tiebreak. 🎾

1️⃣0️⃣ The Six Days of Ghent belonged to the world champions. Fabio Van den Bossche and Lindsay De Vylder wrapped it up in style, pulling away with a bonus lap in the final madison. 🚴‍♂️

1️⃣1️⃣For the third time in history, a Red Lion has been crowned World Player of the Year. After Dohmen and Van Doren, this year the honor goes to Tom Boon. 🏑
