BABY DRIVER 📚 by Jan Kerouac - first published in 1981, an autobiographical novel about the hard but well lived life of the daughter of one of the most prevalent writers of the 20th Century.

THE LEATHER BOYS 📚 by Gillian Freeman - published in 1961, a full five years before the decriminalisation of homosexuality in England, featuring a gay, working class romance between two wayward souls.

A VISITATION OF SPIRITS 📚 by Randall Kenan - coming in February 2026, a magical realist novel about conflict, queerness and evangelism, follows Horace Cross, a black teenager who, in an attempt to transform himself into a bird, accidentally summons and is possessed by a demon.

STAINLESS 📚 by Todd Grimson - author of Brand New Cherry Flavour, adapted for Netflix in 2021, featuring a chronically ill, centuries old vampire, and her ex-musician human companion, whose shared life walks the line between night and day, the living and the undead. Coming April 2026.
