A Chinese fan has gone viral after claiming they bought a heart-shaped island in Jeollanam-do for Jeonghan (jeonghaniyoo_n).

The fan even shared what they say are land ownership documents, and added that they’re currently in the process of changing the island’s name. They explained that the idea came from something Jeonghan once said — that he wanted to be “a person who feels like an island where people can rest.”

They also said the island is meant to be a healing spot where fans can visit, meet each other, relax, and eventually serve as a gift celebrating Jeonghan’s military discharge.

Naturally, reactions are very split. Some call it the ultimate act of devotion, while others say it crosses the line into obsession.
