The KEY to winning scholarships is being authentic and genuine in your needs and goals, while making sure to stay proactive in submitting high quality applications!!! Let me help you break it down in this post! 🫡

1. Write Your Essays W/ Strategy!!!
Most scholarships require an essay. I made sure to carefully read the essay prompt and of course, answer the question- HOWEVER, I always tied it back to WHY I needed the scholarship and HOW it will help me! Another key point is to tie my stories back to serving my community!

2. Apply to EVERYTHING
Any scholarship large or small, as long as I qualified for the eligibility requirements, I made sure to apply. Most scholarships share similar essay prompts so you can reuse essays (though personally, I always made sure to change up at least a few sentences to tie it back to the specific scholarship I applied for!)
