As we reach two months since Elias passed, we continue to feel his absence every single day, but we’re also feeling his presence in new and beautiful ways. There are still tears and moments where the grief catches us off guard, but there have also been so many glimpses of light: shared smiles as we remember his jokes, stories that bring back his laughter, and little moments that remind us of the joy he brought into our lives. We’re learning to move through this journey one day at a time, leaning on each other and on the incredible love surrounding us.
The future looks different than we ever imagined, but we are choosing hope. We trust that God sees the path ahead even when we don’t, and we’re leaning into His guidance as we slowly find our way forward. We pray for strength, peace, and the courage to continue honoring Elias in everything we do, celebrating the life he lived, not just the loss we feel.
Thank you for every prayer, message, hug, meal, and check-in. Each act of kindness lifts us up and reminds us that we’re not walking this road alone. Elias’ light continues to shine so brightly because of all of you who carry him in your hearts, and that brings us comfort, joy, and so much gratitude.
