Unfortunately not to be for me this week at the originsofgolf Final pezulagolfclub ! Some exceptional golf that was played by jarvis_casey and barendbotha62 🏌🏼

A week that seemed to have plenty of promise turned out to be one crazy experience with plenty of laughter and tears. Waking up Sunday morning and readying myself for the final days play, I managed to get my hand stuck between two spinning sealing fan blades. 

None the less I was extremely proud of the way I fought and played. A five under par 67 in the final round shows real character and determination. I pride myself on being as professional as I can and even in the eye of disappointment I could see the light!💡 

As I start to think about the emotions I can only be proud of a result that seemed very distant not so long ago! There were times I as a professional golfer asked myself certain questions about what's to be... and I can only be thankful for a truly amazing support system back home that encouraged me to believe! For those people I can only be greatfull and I will cherish every single accomplishment with them!

My wife mariesaventer1 you are truly an inspiration to me and I am extremely lucky to have a person like you to share my life and story with❤️! To the people I love dearly "My Parents and family" thank you for encouraging me to just show up everyday and to keep working! Your words of wisdom and advice does not go unnoticed.🙏🏼

My bru mikesteyn95 .Together this week you and I fought against some emotions that was bizarre and out of our hands.We faced them like absolute legends and I know this one was special but greater things are to come for us! It will always be a pleasure to roam the fairways with a True Gentleman and worldclass caddy.🏌🏼

For now we keep working because we have an urge and hunger to be better everyday!🥊 🫡
