Darren Woodson called his divorce his greatest failure, & it was the moment his life came full circle. He resented his father. They never had a close relationship, & now he felt just like him. Maybe, he needed a break, but there’s no breaks from marriage… from your family. That’s exactly who is actions impacted. 

He learned from the pain. It made him a better man & better father. He also had to recognize that in that moment, “I was my father”.
