The Government has just pushed a Planning Bill through Parliament, slamming the door on vital protections for nature. 

Amendments that could have offered real protections for habitats and species were set aside, and in their place, we’re left with verbal assurances that can be withdrawn all too easily. This is not the secure future nature deserves. 
 
The Government claimed the bill would be a win-win for nature and the economy, but in reality, nature has been pushed firmly into last place. 
 
Poll after poll shows people care deeply about wildlife and want politicians to act to save it. But instead, we’ve had months of nature-blaming rhetoric. 
 
They’re acting as though nature doesn’t have a voice. But it does: ours, yours, and millions more.
