💵 World Athletics has rejected Grand Slam Track’s proposal to pay athletes and staff 50% of all money owed. With the governing body also being one of the vendors that Michael Johnson’s organisation is in debt to.

According to an article in The Times an email sent by the league on Wednesday claimed not allowing the deal would potentially cause Grand Slam Track to fall into bankruptcy leaving everyone unpaid 🤯
