McLaren Special Operations (MSO) exists to push the boundaries of what a supercar can be, bringing our customers visions to life.

Recently, they pioneered a method to infuse colour directly into the P1’s visual carbon fibre. By utilising a crushed-glass pigment and a specialised clear-coat technique, MSO created a finish that adds a translucent wash of blue, red, or gold while keeping the carbon weave perfectly visible.

This innovation offers a new dimension of aesthetics. It’s a level of personalisation that transcends traditional paint, allowing the P1’s raw engineering to remain the star of the show.
