Greg Lambousy, our Executive Director and Taslya Mejia, our International Relations Manager had the honor of welcoming Israel Dávila González, General Manager of palmerolaairportxpl, Honduras along with Alberto Lazarus, Director of Public Relations, and Attorney Nelson Oliva.

We were also joined by Brenda Murphy, Executive Director of Jambalaya News Louisiana, and journalist Faby Chavez. We deeply appreciate Brenda Murphy for bringing our distinguished guests to the museum and facilitating this meaningful exchange regarding increased direct flights to Honduras from New Orleans. 

We look forward to attending the grand opening of the new flight route from New Orleans to Palmerola Airport. As part of this cultural exchange, we are honored to announce that our museum will curate an exhibit highlighting the history of New Orleans jazz, which will be displayed at Palmerola Airport.

We are grateful for this opportunity to strengthen cultural and international ties through aviation, the arts, and tourism. This collaboration not only celebrates the rich heritage of New Orleans jazz but also promotes travel and cultural exchange between our communities. We also want to recognize Kevin Dolliole, Director of Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, for his dedication to expanding tourism and keeping families closer by creating new flight routes.

We look forward to fostering new connections, encouraging tourism, and building lasting partnerships for the future.
