Do you know what pulses are? 

They are the dry, edible seed of pod plants in the legume family and include split peas, lentils, dry beans and chickpeas and we grow them in Alberta! 

Each week we’ll be sharing our "Pulse to Plate" as part of Wellness Wednesdays which include a delicious pulse recipe, like our Cheesy Pizza Beans with Toast, along with nutrition and cooking/prep tips so you can add pulses to your plate.
