Steve Brooke, a longtime resident of Farmingdale, Maine, has spent his life in nature, catching his first cutthroat trout in his mom's lap when he was just a few months old. Since then, rivers and streams have been a foundational part of his life, and he's dedicated his time to protecting and restoring his home waters. 

A leading voice for Atlantic salmon and the Kennebec River ecosystem, Steve embodies everything it means to be a river champion.
