🎨Ancestral Apparatus — Exhibition Opening

Ancestral Apparatus is a research exhibition by Daniela Atencio and Claudio Rossi that reinterprets the water-harvesting jagüeyes of La Guajira — ancestral infrastructures shaped through centuries of ecological knowledge. Through mapping, modeling, and fabrication, the exhibition reveals these reservoirs as living archives of resilience, adaptation, and cultural memory.

🎨Made in Miami — Opening Reception
Tuesday, Dec 2 | 6–9 PM
Miami Beach Urban Studios
Made in Miami showcases ten Miami-based artists whose practices span installation, painting, experimental media, feminist perspectives, and explorations of place and culture. The exhibition highlights the creative energy driving Miami’s artistic landscape and will be on view through January 22, 2026.

🎨FIU Art Alumni at No Vacancy: Miami Beach
We’re proud to celebrate our FIU Art alumni featured in the sixth edition of No Vacancy, a juried public art initiative transforming Miami Beach’s iconic hotels through site-specific installations:

• Pepe Mar — Tropical Stomping Ground, Casa Faena
• Nathalie Alfonso — BayScape, International Inn on the Bay
• Patty Suau — Unexpected Encounters, Kimpton Surfcomber

No Vacancy runs November 13–December 20, inviting the public to experience Miami Beach as a citywide hub for contemporary art.
