“Get to Know” Part VI:

It’s officially winter season in athletics and with that we continue our Get to Know Series with our winter sport head coaches!

First up is the leader of the Patriot Wrestling Program, Josh Merry. Coach Merry started the program and has been at the helm for 15 years, winning the Individuals State Championship in 2021 and Team Duals State Championships in 2021 and 2023. During his tenure he’s also sent dozens of student-athletes on to wrestle in college, most recently ‘25 MPCS graduate Conor Doherty to Army at West Point just last year. 

The team is off to a great start this season and host a Tri-Match tonight at 5pm against Mount Paran and North Cobb Christian! Come out and support the team and the six seniors on Senior Night in the Drum!
