Deed fraud is a serious threat to property owners, where fraudsters illegally transfer property ownership without consent.

One effective way to safeguard against deed fraud is by establishing a living trust or an LLC.

With a living trust, the property is transferred into the trust’s name, making it more challenging for fraudsters to impersonate the trustee.

Similarly, an LLC provides an added layer of protection by making it more difficult for individuals to impersonate the LLC’s member or manager.
