#WhyMoody: This week, get to know Damon O’Brien, another one of our excellent academic advising coordinators!

A texasmoody alum, Damon has been at UT for 28 years and at Moody for the past 26!

Damon has always wanted to work in education, and his favorite part of working for Moody is watching students succeed in their academic pathways from freshman year to graduation.

His favorite spot in #TEXASMoody is Cappy’s Cafe and he likes to keep it simple by ordering a Cup o’ Moody.

Damon’s advice for students is to find the best way to manage all the exciting opportunities that college brings. “Learn to embrace the importance of balance.”
