AT&T told federal telecom regulators it will end all diversity, equity, and inclusion programs as it seeks approval from the Trump administration to buy wireless spectrum assets.

In November 2024, AT&T agreed to purchase $1.02 billion in wireless spectrum licenses from US Cellular, a deal that needs FCC approval. The FCC, under President #DonaldTrump, has made ending DEI initiatives a condition for approving such transactions.
