“I had never even heard of NC State and we stopped here on our way to tour another college. We walked into Talley and hopped onto some random tour. It was raining and we didn’t know anything about this campus, but I fell in love and committed without ever coming back.

Everybody was incredibly kind. I had never really been anywhere where I felt like I could walk up to anyone and ask them a question and they would be happy to answer it, plus it has a really great mix of traditional and modern buildings. It was just a really beautiful campus and finding out more about NC State, knowing that it’s a really great STEM school, just made it seem like it was the perfect fit.

I am an intern with @applyncstate, a parent ally with @ncstatepfs and I am a teacher mentor and teacher relations chair for Musical Empowerment at NC State. I am in the University Honors Program and I do CRU as well.

In 5 years, I would ideally like to have a job in programming or data analytics. At that point I will probably also be looking into grad school if I am not at grad school already.

I really, really love NC State. I wouldn’t work two jobs here if I didn’t love it. The way that I am able to mix math with music has been really amazing. I don’t think I would be able to do that anywhere else.”
