One day after Tosh Lupoi was officially introduced as the new Cal football head coach, Bear Territory got another piece of good news. Freshman quarterback Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele announced Saturday that he would be staying at Cal for his sophomore season.

“After spending time with my family, a lot of prayer and many discussions, I have come to realize that Cal is the best place for me,” Sagapolutele said in a press release from Cal Athletics. “I believe in Cal and what this football program is capable of.”
