Another weekend of standout performances from our Team Belgium athletes across the world. This is your Weekend Wrap Up!⤵️

1️⃣ 5 medals at the European Short Course Championships in Lublin, 🇵🇱, Roos Vanotterdijk impressed once again with 2 Vice-European champion titles. 🏊‍♂️

2️⃣ What a week for Florine Gaspard! After 🥈 in the 100m breaststroke, she closes the championship with 🥉 in the 50m breaststroke, just 0.01 off a new NR. 🏊‍♀️

3️⃣ Lucas Henveaux joined the party, becoming Vice-European champion in the 800m freestyle with a new NR (7’28”03), to add another Belgian record (4’03”89) in the 400m IM. 🏊‍♂️

4️⃣ Chloé Herbiet smashed the legendary 23-year-old Belgian record of Marleen Renders at the Valencia Marathon, 🇪🇸. She finished 3rd in 2:20:38 and climbs to the 5th place on the European all-time list. 🏃‍♀️

5️⃣ A thrilling jump-off in A Coruña, 🇪🇸 where Pieter Devos and Jarina J took the 🥇 at the CSI5* Grand Prix. 🏇

6️⃣ Max Drion skied to 🥉 in the first ski mountaineering Sprint of the season. Already qualified for Milano–Cortina, he confirms his world-class form with another huge result. ⛷️

7️⃣ Speed skater Sandrine Tas opened her Heerenveen weekend with a NR on the 5.000m and became the first Belgian ever under 7’. A fall in the mass start costed her a top result, but she still finished in 8th place. ⛸️

8️⃣ Bart Swings just misses the podium in the mass start. The Olympic champ did tons of work pulling the chase and finished 4th. ⛸️
