TOYOTA GAZOO Racing and Lexus Hold World Premiere of GR GT and GR GT3

The GR GT is Toyota’s new flagship sports car, created through a driver led development process shaped by Master Driver Morizo and top professional drivers. Every part of the car was refined through the cycle of driving, pushing to failure, and rebuilding.

It is built around a front engine, rear wheel platform with an extremely low center of gravity and Toyota’s first all aluminum body frame. The car focuses on aerodynamics, lightweight strength, and total driver control.

Power comes from a new 4 liter V8 twin turbo with a dry sump system. A carbon fiber torque tube and rear mounted transaxle house an 8 speed automatic, a single electric motor, and a mechanical limited slip differential. The result is a car that delivers high performance while staying easy to handle for drivers at any level.

The GR GT3 is Toyota’s new FIA GT3 race car, built from the GR GT with a complete driver first philosophy. Designed to compete globally, it meets FIA GT3 regulations and aims to be the choice for both professional racers and gentleman drivers. It keeps the GR GT’s aluminum space frame chassis, low mount double wishbone suspension, and 4 liter V8 twin turbo engine, all engineered for performance and control. TGR is also preparing a full support program for teams racing the GR GT3 worldwide.

The Lexus LFA Concept is a next generation BEV sports car created under the same one team development approach led by Master Driver Morizo. It carries the spirit of the original LFA while pushing electric performance forward through advanced technology and purposeful design. Lexus is setting out to show what a true BEV sports car can be.
