my grandfather sang till the very end. 

he got to see me at perform in Spring Awakening on Broadway

but I wish he could have seen me sing this song to my husband at our wedding. 

it was also his wedding song. 

I love this video because it shows how much we loved singing it together. 

i think of him almost daily. 

grief takes all the best people

but it also gives the best memories. 

I’m so grateful to sing and to have these memories of singing with him.
