Please help us celebrate our patient, Brynn — she's raised $33,000 for the National Alopecia Areata Foundation (naaf_alopecia) and will join its annual walk this weekend to raise awareness about the disease! Brynn is a 7th grader in #MillValley, and four years ago, her mom noticed a bald spot on her head.
Her pediatrician diagnosed her with #alopeciaareata, an #autoimmune disease that causes hair loss in kids and adults. Brynn sees dermatologist Dr. Jennifer Fu at our hospital and has become a spokesperson and advocate for #alopecia awareness and research! She even traveled to Washington, D.C., to speak with senators about the disease!
