We celebrated #KangarooCareDay in our NICUs and Cardiac Intensive Care Unit!
Research shows that skin-to-skin snuggles help tiny babies regulate their heart rates, breathing and blood pressure, while reducing stress in both parents and infants. Recently, heart units have also seen benefits for babies who are recovering from surgery! ❤️
