## Caption

Say hello to your new favorite winter pairing 🍏❄️

Apple Butter Old Fashioned:
-2 oz. whisky
-2 oz. apple cider
-1 tbsp. apple butter
-2 dashes orange bitters
-cinnamon sugar for rim

Apple Tarte Tatin:
-1 sheet puff pastry
-1/3 cup sugar
-2.5 tbsp. butter
-4 granny smith apples, peeled, cored & sliced in half

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees
In a cast iron pan, cook sugar until melted and amber
Remove from heat, then mix in butter
Arrange apples into pan cut side up. Top with puff pastry and gently tuck the edges underneath the apples.
Bake for 30-35 minutes until puff pastry is golden brown
Allow to cool, then flip onto a plate
Serve with ice cream, and enjoy
