Pssst, your work is still working even when YOU’RE not.

Social media has programmed us to believe that the value of our work is directly tied to our engagement. It’s not. Neither is our visibility. 

Despite what we’ve been conditioned to believe, numbers do lie, especially when they’re telling you that you’re a “flop” because you didn’t get 100,000 views on your latest video. Numbers lie when they convince you that the world has moved on without you because you haven’t been on your game as you’re used to.

The truth is, creating anything in itself is impressive but so is logging off and taking care of yourself. You’re not AI, you’re a person. And people care about people, that should affirm to you that we’ll be here whenever you come back.

Just make sure you come back to yourself first.
